High Ball Stepper | A Rose in Bloom

Dress: Free People// Boots: Betsey Johnson// Necklace: local vendor// Bangles: Haight Street vendor// Bra: Free People

How great is this dress? I bought it on clearance at Macy's last summer, and have definitely got my money's worth. It's a dream of a dress and full of everything I love... the back detailing, a little skin, full skirted, and yet somehow simple. Great in the summer due to the lightweight fabric, great in the fall with leggings or tights and a cardigan. Well done, Free People. These boots are so comfortable too, hence why you see them all the time. I love how they add an almost grungy feel to the outfit.

Also, have you noticed my hair is no longer purple? Surprisingly few people have at work and dance. I got a new cut too, hence my lovely side bangs that are one of the best decisions I have ever made. I will have to take a picture with my hair down soon!

On a side note, I am super stoked about Jack White's new album next week! Seeing him at Forecastle in Louisville will definitely be one of my summer highlights, right next to seeing Conor Oberst this Saturday! Man, so many artists I love releasing new music this year... Conor Oberst, Jack White, First Aid Kit, Jenny Lewis. What a great summer it will be. Do you have any music you are looking forward to this year?
