The Cure for Anything is Salt Water
Monday, May 19, 2014“The cure for anything is salt water - tears, sweat, or the sea.”
― Isak Dinesen, Seven Gothic TalesYep, I am wishing to massage my toes on the sand and let the sea cleanse my insides. I need it.

Monday Quote: Words Are Only Painted Fire
Monday, May 12, 2014Ever since I saw this post on the BLDG 25 Free People blog, I knew I needed to feature this quote. However, I have had a hard time truly understanding the message enough to put my speculations into words. It's still difficult, to be honest, but what I have gathered is that describing something is a beautiful and powerful art, but nothing compares to being in the moment. One can never understand the "fire" a painting/story/song portrays unless they were there to feel everything at the original occurence. Once you see the fire, it becomes a part of your heart. And while art can replicate these emotions, it will never compare to a true life, raw experience.
What do you think?
